“It is important that parents celebrate the curiosity of their children and answer these big questions with as much honesty and openness as possible. Parents might feel an underlying pressure to have all of the answers, but no one truly does! In fact, being transparent about what you don’t know is in itself a valuable opportunity to model authenticity and encourage children to be curious about their own beliefs. -Kristin Gattens”
About Kristin Gattens, MA
Kristin Gattens, M.A. is an accredited counsellor and children’s book author from Vancouver, Canada. After spending the better part of a decade working in various clinical settings, Kristin began to feel increasingly disheartened by the limitations of conventional psychology and felt called to diversify her education in the areas of life coaching, holistic healing, and spiritual psychology. She also became inspired to create children’s books as a tangible way of encouraging the empowerment and spiritual development of young children.
Kristin now lives in a seaside village on the South Coast of England where she has an established counselling practice, Inspired Soulutions, and offers holistic counselling services and empowerment coaching to clients all over the world.
Kristin is the author of “Who am I Really?”, an inspiring story of self-discovery and a valuable resource for conscious parents to share with children of all ages and facilitate open, candid conversations about spirituality and identity. It is the first of the NED BOOKS series and will be re-published in 2022.
