Emotional Alchemy: Transmuting Our Lower-Vibrational Emotions

I’ve been called to share this simple yet powerful exercise with you. At this time, we are going through a huge energy shift. What no longer serves our highest self and our soul contracts are crumbling away, and oftentimes that can feel like everything is falling apart. Trust me, it isn’t.

When we spend too much time existing in lower-vibrational emotions, thoughts, and experiences, like anger, shame, and despair, they will quickly become a part of our reality and narrative.

Instead, we can use Emotional Alchemy to transmute (since energy cannot be destroyed) these emotions into higher-vibrational ones by shifting our perspective. This simple exercise is such an important tool in your self-healing kit.

The Emotional Scale

First, what exactly are the lower-vibrational emotions? The collective known as Abraham Hicks shared an important emotional scale that reveals the vibrations of our emotions. 1 being the highest and 22 the lowest:

  1. Joy/Appreciation/Empowerment/Freedom/Love
  2. Passion
  3. Enthusiasm/Eagerness/Happiness
  4. Positive Expectation/Belief
  5. Optimism
  6. Hopefulness
  7. Contentment
  8. Boredom
  9. Pessimism
  10. Frustration/Irritation/Impatience
  11. Overwhelment (feeling overwhelmed)
  12. Disappointment
  13. Doubt
  14. Worry
  15. Blame
  16. Discouragement
  17. Anger
  18. Revenge
  19. Hatred/Rage
  20. Jealousy
  21. Insecurity/Guilt/Unworthiness
  22. Fear/Grief/Desperation/Despair/Powerlessness

Transmuting Our Emotions

Using this scale as our guide, alchemizing our emotions goes something like this:

I feel grief and unworthiness because a friend who I cared about, and who I thought cared about me, hurt me and left my life.

Which I choose to transmute to…

I am grateful for the special times shared together with my friend and I am hopeful I will find that kind of relationship again that is a vibrational match for my life. I trust this was for the highest good of all.

The most important part of your new perspective, whether you fully believe it or not, is to tune your heart into the higher emotions (even if it’s just a split second). Remember, our brains don’t know the difference between thoughts and reality, so the more you can tune into these higher vibrational emotions, the quicker they will transmute into your life.

This type of exercise is also important to help us move through these energy shifts to be a vibrational match for all of the blessings and amazing things to come to us during this transformative time.
